Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills are important, along with attention to detail, clear (closed-loop) communication, and a commitment to maintaining all safety and regulatory standards.
Scheduling for this position is flexible and based on surgical needs. Shifts may include either:
- An early pre-op/circulating shift, or

Surgery days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. At least one shift per month is guaranteed, with the opportunity to grow into a more consistent schedule over time.
Opening shifts begin at 5:45 AM and end when the day’s surgeries are complete. Mid-day PACU shifts start no earlier than 8:00 AM (timing varies based on the surgical schedule) and conclude after the final patient has been discharged.
